Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields;
- Preferably 7-10 years work experience as database administrator;
- At least 3 years direct management of databases;
- MCDBA and OCP certifications are a plus;
- Above-average oral and written communication skills;
- Professional, team-player, must be self motivated;
- Experience consulting as a professional Management/IT resource advising clients in best practices;
- Knowledge on CMMI concepts and implementation is a plus;
- Advanced knowledge of DBA tasks, including upgrading and cloning databases, migrating databases to different hardware platforms, performing database recoveries;
- Ability to monitor systems for capacity constraints and propose capacity solutions;
- Ability to plan and execute projects to increase database availability and performance;
- Demonstrated experience in database and system backup and recovery procedures;
- Demonstrated ability to automate routine DBA tasks using scripting solutions;
- Experience in performance tuning of databases as well as SQL and PL/SQL;
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking principles and multi-tiered web architectures;
- Understanding of application, system, and hardware security issues;
- Knowledge of the creation and maintenance of Database links, triggers, materialized views, views, user accounts, roles etc.;
- Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City;
- Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status;
